Dear Friends,
Please accept
my humble obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Thank you
so much for all the wonderful service and help you have
given to RVC over many years and especially this past
year.
Since our
last newsletter, forty residential students took classes
at RVC; three students passed their Bhakti sastri exam,
(one of these also received the Associates Degree in
Vaisnava Philosophy); two students were awarded Bhakti-vaibhava
titles (ISKCON's first) one of which received the Bachelors
of Vaisnava Philosophy.
Joining
the RVC visiting professor team was Sankarsana Prabhu
(Austin, Texas), Nirguna Prabhu (Prabhupada Village,
North Carolina), Tattvavada Prabhu (Finland), Veda Vyasa
Prabhu (Montreal) and a return visit from Vijaya Prabhu
(Book distribution Minister). Students and faculty took
field trips to New York and Los Angeles Rathayatras
and the New Vrndavana Festival of Inspiration.
Through
July, 2003 RVC occupies sixth position in book distribution
within North America. Since the installation of marble
Gaura Nitai deities last Janmastami the worship has
been steadily improving. A new outside staircase for
the offices was built along with minor renovations to
the kitchen. If you get a chance, please view the RVC
website (rvc.edu) which has dramatically progressed
and now includes the RVC News Site.
